Day 14: Sheep say " Eat More Burgers!"

This morning I got up early and watched the sun rise over the lake at Wonchi with Allison and Brittany. It was beautiful and very peaceful. When our driver came back to get us at 9am, we went back to Ambo, stopped at a hotel and got some food. I had a cheeseburger and though it wasn’t an American cheeseburger per se, it was still delicious…esp. since we did not have dinner the night before!! They wanted to kill a sheep for us, but we said no and opted for the snacks we had packed instead.

Then we headed back to Addis Ababa. The rest of the day was spent showering, resting, talking to Brianna (who had just gotten back from Rwanda) and JT, and meeting JT’s brother, Casey, who is now here.
